The Wadi Qelt Trail is one of the most beautiful natural trails in Palestine, stretching through a deep rocky valley connecting Jerusalem and Jericho. The trail features stunning natural scenery including towering rock walls, freshwater springs, and diverse vegetation that adds exceptional beauty to the journey.

The trail passes near the historic Mar Jiryis (St. George) monastery built into the rocky cliff walls, adding a unique historical and cultural dimension to the experience. Natural water sources are available along the trail, making it ideal for hiking during spring and autumn.

Amazing trail with stunning natural scenery! The valley is beautiful especially in spring when the springs are full of water. I highly recommend visiting this trail with family.

A very pleasant experience. The trail is clear and easy to follow. The best part is the panoramic view from the top of the valley. Proper hiking shoes are needed due to some rocky sections.

I have visited the trail twice and each time I discover something new. The wildlife is rich and the diverse birds make the hike enjoyable. I recommend starting early in the morning to avoid the heat.
